01 This is a variation on a standard pop
shove it, although the board rotates frontside - instead of backside like
a standard pop shove it. Start rolling slow with your front foot behind
the truck bolts, and your back foot on the tail, more over the heel edge.
|
 |

02 Crouch down You don't need lots of pop
for this as it's not flipping, it's more about giving the board enough
room under your feet to spin 180.
|
 |

03 As you pop try to keep your front foot
raised aboved the center of your board, not off toward any edge. As you
kick your tail down, also shove it forwards so the tail goes around in
front of you.

| |

04 Immediately as you pop you'll need to
'hop' slightly above your board to allow it to spin 180. Try and keep
your body in the same position as you started, without it twisting as
your back foot pushes forward.
|
 |

05 As you see the tail coming around to the
front to be your nose, land on the board. Over time as you get used to these,
your legs will adjust to catch the board - and you do them higher you'll
be able to catch them in the air (as above). |
 |

06 Try and land over the truck bolts. As
you learn these and start catching them your body might not have done
a complete 180, which means you might not be able to ride out properly.
make sure you put enough power in the shove. Also remember this is a backfoot
trick, use the front foot to stop the board flipping. Get to it!
