01 This is a basic kickflip, done moving
backwards. Start with your feet in the same position as a normal kickflip.
Don't forget you should be fairly comfortable with normal kickflips and
fakie ollies before trying these.

 |

02 You need to be moving in order for this
trick to work - it's not something you can learn still like some tricks.
While rolling slowly fakie, crouch like a normal flip - although with
a little more weight over the centre of the board (like leaning forwards).

 |

03 Pop like a normal flip, again with a bit
more weight over the centre of your board. This will help to stop yourself
launching backward off
your board when you kick down
on the tail.

04 Remember it's just a kickflip, although
he flip will feel strange as your moving backwards. If you remain a little
lower over your board you'll find it a bit easier to balance. Catch the
board as normal.

 |

05 Landing these is simple if you land in the
same position as you started - fakie, although at first you might be tempted
to turn your body more to face the way you are moving, which means you'll
be landing switch stance... As usual, aim for the truck bolts, but try and
remain in fakie positioning for style. |
 |

06 As you roll away, try to hold the direction
and not kickturn into normal forward riding straight away. This will take
practice, but when you can do this, it will add much more style and confidence
to the trick (i.e. you can land a trick alternatively without shifting
back to original stance straight away). You can get these down!
